The Roundhouse Community Garden

The Roundhouse Community Garden produces food for the Roundhouse Kitchen and Cafe.

We have raised beds growing fruit and vegetables, apple and plum trees

and a polytunnel for more warm-climate plants.

As well as our staff and volunteers who look after the garden, 

The Whitfield Community Hub Gardening Group attend every Monday 

to help water, prune and harvest the produce.

We also have a compost and hot compost for food waste from the Roundhouse Kitchen, 

as well as a compostable toilet.

We have positive links with local school groups who attend the Roundhouse Cafe regularly. 

We encourage the staff and children to visit the garden to learn where the food comes from. Education is an integral part of the values of the Roundhouse Kitchen and Cafe.

Our Garden Room is suitable for small groups, events and meetings. 

Please do enquire if you would like to hire the space. 

The Roundhouse Kitchen and Cafe is a local community project led by Signpost International which aims to close the loop between food surplus and food waste.
