The Café is currently closed, but can be booked for functions or regular events.  Call  01382 504033  to make a booking.  We would love to hear from you

Our café opened for the first time in November 2021 and offers a welcoming space where you can spend some time relaxing and enjoying tasty food.  With its vibrant mural, zero waste tips corner and book swap shelf, we want to create a place where people can come to learn from each other. If you’d like to start up a group here, get in touch to let us know your idea. We have space for up to 26 people to sit in.

Sharing our Community Kitchen’s vision of helping close the loop between food waste and food insecurity, our café offers dishes made from the surplus food we collect, as well as some old favourites like toasties and home-baking. 

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do here.  If you come to see us, you’ll notice that we like to reuse, from the furniture and café counter units to the cutlery and fabric napkins, we’ve sourced as many preloved items as possible, this is just one of the many ways we plan to promote circular ways of trading here.  We also like to think we’ve helped to declutter cupboards across Dundee!

We are also expanding on the educational resources we offer, aiming to equip people with the skills and confidence to cook more at home, and make their food and finances go further.

We have accessible access from our dedicated café car park, accessible toilet facilities, a baby change room and we are a member of the Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland network.
